Well, this is just sad all around, a pit bull named Mello was tied up to a park bench and left abandoned!

According to the New Jersey's Humane Society, the cute puppy was left on August 1st a little after midnight right outside of their building.

Believe it or not, this has been happening a lot! According to the humane society, this was the fourth dog dumped outside the animal shelter in the last 30 days.

“People are dumping these animals like never has been seen before and we think we as a society need to try to wrap our heads around it and figure out what the heck is going on,” the society wrote in a post.

Pit Bull Abandoned With A Note

The great-looking pup was found by police and tied to a bench outside a pet adoption service in Ocean City, and the person did leave a note.

In the note the person writes Mello is a 1-year-old female, and how she is her shots and is fixed. It goes on to say she needs a new home, and can no longer be cared for, and she does not bite. This is so sad and Mello looks like a great dog.

Here Is A Note Saying Why They Left Mello The Dog.New Jersey Humane Society

I know times are tough, but if you ask me, having a pet and taking care of it, has just as many responsibilities as having a child.

So if you are interested in adopting her or getting another pet in your loving home you can hit up The NJ Humane Society.

Here Is The Video Of Mello

In the video captured by the Humane Society, you can see Mello wagging her tail while her assumed owner tied her up and walked off.
