Each night from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. on March 21-22, artists will project stories onto buildings using light. The global lineup includes artists from Hungary, Ukraine, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, and the U.S.
“As a first-of-its-kind event in New Jersey and the Tri-State Area, Color & Light Festival promises an unforgettable experience that blends art, technology and our collective human story. Our hope is to bring unity and light into our world through the power of creation." said Color & Light Festival and PolyOne Founder Shawn Emamjomeh to New Jersey Stage.
At the Parkside Gallery, guests can check out digital artwork while exploring illuminated displays. By the beach, local vendors will offer food and sell handmade goods.
Thanks to OUTFRONT Media, Monmouth Arts, and Asbury Park officials, this free event is happening. The theme, "It takes all our colors to achieve light," celebrates unity.
Interested in getting involved? The festival website shows how to participate as an artist, vendor or volunteer. Bradley Park is perfectly located, just steps from restaurants and shops.
By gathering artists from six countries, this festival hopes to create something special for locals and visitors alike. Each group will add their cultural touch to create beautiful light displays.
Since it's free and happens after dark, families can enjoy the show when the light displays look their best.
