Part Five of the show just debuted and it was brilliant. Warning…I’m gonna try to go light on the SPOILERS and just give you the gist of the episode…but I gotta tell you a few things. So you have been warned…if you don’t want any SPOILERS…scroll down to the awesome Ahsoka videos. Anyway…now on to the review…

CLONE WAR-ERA ANAKIN SKYWALKER IS BACK!!! OH, HELL YEAH!!! OK…now that that’s out of the way…seriously Hayden Christensen is back in this epic episode and he was amazing. Ahsoka (as played by Rosario Dawson) has just been killed by Baylan Skoll (Part Four) and she winds up in a sort of afterlife netherworld called the World Between Worlds. It is here that Ahsoka meets her former Jedi Master, Anakin Skywalker, and it’s a reunion for the ages.

If you are unfamiliar with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the brilliant animated series, then you may be a little confused. Don’t worry. Darth David has got you. Ahsoka Tano was Anakin’s Padawan in the Clone Wars…which took place between Episodes II and III of the movies…so that’s why we didn’t see Ahsoka in the films. Nevertheless…their teacher-student relationship was probably the most important story-line of that show…and it enhanced both characters.

So to see Anakin Skywalker back is truly something. This series has take a major turn for the better. It’s deepened the Saga’s mythology while also expanding the sheer physics of Star Wars. All in all…Ahsoka has the potential to really open things up in the Star Wars Galaxy and go to places we’ve never been to before. It is awesome. Check out some video highlights of this instant-classic episode below!
