Ho, ho, ho, Rat Rock Nation!  Davey Mac here and I'm feeling especially warm and toasty this Holiday Season!  And I'm sure it's got nothing to the 80-proof eggnog that I've been swilling down this morning!

I'm feeling extra happy because Christmas is nearly here!  Yay!  I've asked Santa for a large, red, fire engine that he never got me when I asked for it at the age of six.  I haven't forgotten, Santa.  I want that damn fire engine and I hope my language right there didn't just land me on the naughty list.

9.) "Mistress For Christmas" by AC/DC

Let's get this list off to a metal start with this excellent AC/DC track.

8.) "Blue Christmas" by Elvis Presley

It simply ain't Christmas without this song and a whiskey on the rocks.

7.) "Don't Believe In Christmas" by Pearl Jam

Rare track by Pearl Jam that was given to their fan club as a Christmas gift...this tune rocks.

6.) "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen

Bruce's exciting and festive interpretation of this song remains a classic.

5.) "Christmastime" by the Smashing Pumpkins

As seen on The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, this wonderful track from Billy Corgan is fantastic.

4.) "Run Rudolph Run" by Chuck Berry

We're going back aways again with one of the innovators of the electric guitar itself, Chuck Berry, and his excellent Christmas classic.

3.) "Christmas All Over Again" by Tom Petty

Love the usage of this song in Home Alone 2...it's become a personal favorite of mine since Tom's passing.

2.) "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)" by the Ramones

Christmas as only the Ramones can sing it.  Just a great track.

1.) "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid

A ton of musicians from the '80's combine forces to release this Christmas classic for charity.
