According to their website, Red Bank River Center is governed by a board of trustees who oversee their small but versatile staff. The board of trustees comprises business and property owners in the self-improvement district, members from other Red Bank community partners, and a few Red Bank residents appointed by the mayor. The Red Bank River Center is supported in part by a grant from the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism.

Soon the streets and lamp posts will be decorated in the festive holiday lights and garland that Red Bank Is known for this time of year. If you do plan on getting some shopping in during one of the holiday events on this list, you should know about parking. First off, there is always free parking in downtown Red Bank every Sunday.

However, you will be excited to know that the town has announced once again there will also be Free Holiday Parking December 9th-25th! If you arrive on one of the days you do have to pay to park, know that Cash and Credit are accepted at most meters. Furthermore, you can download the mPay2 APP to create an account and save time when purchasing parking.

Here are the 7 festive holiday events coming this season! 

  • Town Lighting Featuring Holiday Express November 29th

    It all kicks of on Black Friday! Enjoy a Town Lighting pre-party in Edmund Wilson Plaza (between Triumph Brewing and the Two River Theater) on Friday, November 29 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm! There will be holiday music, refreshments, entertainment, and an appearance by Santa and Mrs Claus! Guest are invited to take selfies with Santa! The pre-event concludes with a parade, led by the Red Bank Fire Department and the Pipe & Drums of the Atlantic Watch up Monmouth Street, to the Town Lighting location on Broad Street! Holiday Express returns for downtown Red Bank’s most magical day with a free outdoor concert that takes place on Broad Street in front of Garmany. It all leads up to the lighting of downtown Red Bank for the 2024 Holiday Season! 

  • Red Bank Elf Hunt November 29th through December 18th

    The elves take over downtown Red Bank from November 29 to December 18! Find as many as you can for a chance to win a Red Bank Bucks digital gift card!
