The Morning Rat Race

ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK - JANUARY 21: Tyler Bass #2 of the Buffalo Bills reacts after missing a 44 yard field goal attempt against the Kansas City Chiefs during the fourth quarter in the AFC Divisional Playoff game at Highmark Stadium on January 21, 2024 in Orchard Park, New York.

What’s up, my friends and appreciators of Sports?!  It’s your reliable correspondent Davey Mac here with a brand new Sports Report for ya!  Today- we’ve got NBA and NHL scores, a NASCAR legend passes away, the Eagles making coaching changes, and the Baseball Hall Of Fame Class of 2024 is announced!  But first…

…This ROCKS.  I can say that…because if there are two things that the Dave Man knows…it’s Sports and Rock.  I can’t tell you what the capital of California is or even what day of the week it is…but I DO KNOW Sports and Rock.  And this sports-call rocks.

It’s a Korean broadcasting team calling the end of the recent amazing playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.  Bills kicker Tyler Bass lined up for a 44-yard field goal which would have tied the game at 27-27 with under two minutes to play.  Unfortunately for Bass…he missed heartbreakingly (unless you’re a Chiefs fan, that is)…and the call from the Korean guys is AWESOME.  Check it out…

I’m sorry but give me these guys over Cris Collinsworth, Troy Aikman, or Joe Buck (especially) any day!  This sportscasting team had energy…they had passion…they brought some juice to the call!  Now, THAT’S broadcasting!  I mean…it’s the playoffs, for crying out loud…bring some excitement!

And while I feel bad for Tyler Bass for missing what was a very makeable kick…at least it yielded this all-time call!  I put this up there with “Do you believe in miracles?” and “Down goes Frazier!”  This is an all-time broadcast!  Well done!  I’m Davey Mac…now on to the Scoreboard!
