Car Thief Was Caught By Santa Claus
Here is one way to be added to the naughty list… stealing a car and having the one and only SANTA catch you in the act.
Here is the scoop, an 18-year-old moron in Alabama named Derrion King and another person according to reports on al.com, took a Nissan Altima on Sunday, and drove off. Someone saw this go down and called the police, and they spotted the car pulling into a local church.
The cops did catch up to the stolen car and stopped the vehicle, and Derrions passenger surrendered, but Derrion made a run for it, and took off into a wooded area behind a church. That is when retired Deputy Larry Williams, who was dressed as Santa and volunteering that day at the local church, nailed Derrion King and kept him there until the police arrived. The deputy Santa did see Derrion trying to “sneak back towards the church and blend in with the crowd.”
So What Are The Charges?
Derrion King is charged with first-degree receiving stolen property and attempting to elude a police officer. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail with a bond set at $16,000. The passenger in the stolen vehicle was released, so I don’t know. Sheriff Mark Pettway had this to say “We need all the help we can get. Thank you, Santa, for the assistance,’’ even Santa has our back when it comes to fighting crime.” LOL

I’m going to say this DON’T STEAL! You know the song ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,’ and in this case, he is always watching even when you’re sleeping. So big shout out to Santa busted this no-good criminal.
