Here’s my list of free stuff to score at the Jersey Shore! Some are free samples, others are promotions, and some are just silly, But hey, they’re all FREE!
Trust Uncle Jimmy, in this economy you need a little help. While I’m not going to be your life coach or tell you how to make more money. However, I can help you score a little free chow here and there if you’re willing to drive to these different places. Think of it as a little supplement to your budget! Besides, at the end of the day, who doesn’t like free sh*t? In fact, The Freebee Guy has cobbled together a list of every food place and all the free stuff you can snag by just signing up or downloading their apps.
One Of My Favorite Freebies Is Now Just A Distant Memory
When I first started working at the Rat back in 1996, I went with some coworkers up to Rumson to a magical joint called Barnacle Bills. I had a burger that day that to this moment I will put up against any I’ve ever eaten anywhere. This isn’t a story about burgers though. It’s about free stuff, and Barnacle Bill’s had plenty of it…In the form of peanuts! Oh yeah, you remember. Peanuts in the shell, all you could crack. Shells all over the floor, your pants, your beer. It was glorious. Unfortunately, the rising concern of childhood nut allergies, caused Bill’s to make a drastic decision in 2012. So no more free peanuts at Barnacle Bills. Ahhh nuts! But that burger is still aces.
As I said, you may chuckle or roll your eyes at a couple of these free stuff items on my list. Some are obvious, while others you might just overlook or not fully appreciate. However, I bet there are one or two that you didn’t know about and can’t wait to get your share of! So have at it, and remember, if it’s free stuff, it’s for me!
Free Random App At Shogun Legends In Wall
The Sushi King Of Howell, Carl Craft claims this is true. He says that if you go to Shogun Legends on Route 34 in Wall Township, sit at the sushi bar, and order up some sushi, the fellow behind the bar will bring out a free appetizer for you. Carl told me he has had single servings of octopus, crab, and shrimp tempura on different occasions. It’s free and always random. Ok wait. This sounds amazing, is this just a Carl Craft, morning show guy deal? I must find out if this is for everybody!
