A Father’s Day trip to New Hope and Lambertville made for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. After we had a nice Father’s Day family breakfast at one of our favorite local places here at the Shore, Sunrise Seafood in Seaside Heights, we dropped the 22 and 16-year-olds off at home to do their thing and the wife and I set out on a day trip adventure to Lambertville, New Jersey, and it’s more famous next door neighbor, New Hope, Pennsylvania.
The weather was gorgeous, all be it a bit steamy. We parked in Lambertville and checked out that underrated little town. It’s got as much swag as New Hope, just without a lot of the fanfare. We have been going to New Hope for over 20 years, but I have to say, this is one of the few times I actually walked around Lambertville and checked out the vibe. Years ago we used to check out River Horse Brewing there before they moved to Ewing. Both spots are totally worth the 1-hour trip from the Jersey Shore! When you go – park on the Lambertville side. Much easier. Oh and be sure to stop by Peace Pie (shameless plug)…I don’t know them or have any affiliation but damn those ice cream sandwiches are bangin!!!!!
So here is a small gallery of photos I took mostly of Lambertville on Father’s Day 2024. Enjoy!
