I thought this could be a good use of the cool new camera system in the main studio. I recorded every episode of the No Sweat News and here they are for ya.
Why? Well because on the Friday (November 11th) Morning Rat Race we’ll do a little quiz on this AM Show feature and the winner of the quiz will get two tickets to see Nickelback at the WRAT Nutcracker Ball at Starland Ballroom on November 18th. Not only will our winner get tickets to the show, but they’ll get invites to our “meet n greet” with the band.
It’s kinda cool because the Nutcracker Ball is happening on the very day that Nickelback’s new album is being released. “Get Rollin'” will be Nickelbacks first album release in 5 years and the three shows in November will be the first live shows the band will perform in three years. The first show is in Toronto, Canada. The second is our Nutcracker Ball, while the third is a casino in Connecticut.
In case you’re wondering how the No Sweat News Quiz works, here ya go. At about 7:15am we’ll take a random caller on our studio line, make sure you’re tuned in. I’ll read 4 quick stories to that random caller. Three of the stories were on the air this week on our No Sweat News feature and one of them, I made up. If our random caller correctly identifies the made up story, they win. If not, we keep going to the phones until we get a winner.
