CDC Releases Halloween 2020 Guidelines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released guidance on safety for Halloween 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
There are a lot of questions and concerns about how to celebrate safely this year. The CDC has ranked all activities from low risk to high risk.
“Many traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading viruses,” the CDC’s Holiday Celebrations page states. “There are several safer, alternative ways to participate in Halloween.”
Participating in traditional trick-or-treating is among the higher risk activities along with trunk-or-treat events, attending costume parties indoors, going to an indoor haunted house, and hayrides.
