Jocks With Crocks: (Not So) Vegetarian Chili
Carl added a secret ingredient to this “vegetarian” chili. And, (hate mail incoming0, it’s got FOUR beans in it. Breaking rules all around!
Put all in a crock pot for 8 hours
1lb ground pork, browned and drained
3 celery stalks diced
1 red onion large diced
2 red peppers or mixed colors
3/4 cloves garlic minced
1 small can tomato paste
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 can each: garbanzo beans, red beans, navy beans, black beans all rinsed
1 can corn drained
Spices to taste: cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, dash of cinnamon
Optional: cayenne powder, chilies in adobo, smoked pork hock or neck
