John Wick 3 – Parabellum, the latest installment to the Keanu Reeves action franchise, opens today, and for Bush fans, they received an extra bonus with the release of the new song from the film’s soundtrack “Bullet Holes.”

The song was co-written by Gavin Rossdale and Tyler Bates, who’s the film composer for John Wick 3 and has been working with Bush on the band’s new studio LP. In a statement, Bates said, “‘Bullet Holes’ is one of four songs Gavin Rossdale and I wrote together for the forthcoming Bush record. At that time, I was working on the score for this film and once Gavin sang the chorus I felt the song would be a perfect compliment to the movie. We sent the track to the director, Chad Stahelski, and he was into it. We are very psyched that this song is now part of the ‘John Wick’ world.”

Also psyched might be the female (and male) fans of Bush when they see the video for the new track, because Rossdale somehow looks more ripped than usual. Get it, Gavin! Sure, the sight of you makes me feel bloated and lazy, but way to go!

“Bullet Holes” is available for streaming on multiple platforms here.
