Chris Cornell, the retrospective set covering the many stages of the late singer, is out now and features the new track “When Bad Does Good.”  The moving song, which was previously unreleased until this new set, now has an equally moving video starring his son, Christopher.

Embedded below, the video follows Christopher riding his bike throughout Seattle on a paper route delivering copies of The Seattle Times.  As he’s making his way through various neighborhoods, classic lyrics once sung by the late Cornell start to appear within the landscape, from city streets to steps to business signs.

Chris Cornell features liner notes by Kim Thayil, who said of the set in an interview with Billboard, I think it’s a great chronological overview of his career. That hasn’t been done before other than live recordings of his solo tour, where he picked different things from throughout his career. I think it’s a good representation of what he’s done…I think this reflects Chris’ ability to interpret things emotively and through a depth in his life experiences and his understanding of relationships and of himself, as opposed to just being someone who has some talent and no context through which to interpret it or express it.”

Chris Cornell is available in CD, 4CD, 2LP and Super Deluxe Box Set at ChrisCornell.com.
