A number of rock acts are canceling upcoming shows and other appearances in Russia following the country’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
Below is a list of acts that have opted not to play in Russia following Russia’s invasion. (Note: This list will continue to be updated as more cancelations come in.)
Imagine Dragons
Imagine Dragons shared via Instagram, “In light of recent events, we’re sad to announce our Russia and Ukraine shows are canceled until further notice. Our thoughts are with Ukraine and all others suffering from this needless war.”
The band was set to perform in Kyiv on June 3, Moscow on June 5 and St. Petersburg on June 7.
Eric Clapton
A rep for Clapton told TMZ that the guitarist’s St. Petersburg and Moscow shows in June have been canceled and “…it is highly unlikely that they will be reinstated at any time.”
twenty one pilots
twenty one pilots shared on March 1 via Twitter, “Due to the current tragic events, it is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of our Moscow show. This news feels insignificant given the gravity of what is happening. Peace will win and we hope for a time we can visit you again. We stand with Ukraine.”
The Moscow show was slated for July.

Green Day was slated to perform in Moscow on May 29, but they have since canceled the show.
The band shared a statement via their Instagram stories saying, “With heavy hearts, in light of current events we feel it is necessary to cancel our upcoming show in Moscow at Spartak Stadium. We are aware that this moment is not about stadium rock shows, it’s much bigger than that.”
The statement continued, “But we also know that rock and roll is forever and we feel confident there will be a time and a place for us to return in the future. Refunds available at the point of purchase. Stay safe.”
Bring Me The Horizon
Bring Me The Horizon issued the following statement today (March 1): “In solidarity with Ukraine and to stand against the atrocities being committed by Russian leadership, we must cancel our forthcoming dates in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.”
The statement continued, “Ukraine is an incredibly special place for us, we have toured & made numerous music videos there, making lots of strong bonds & lifelong friendships, we are in awe of the bravery demonstrated right now by the Ukrainian people, & we pray for a return to peace as soon as possible.”
The band further noted, “Russia we also want to acknowledge that the atrocities being committed by Russian leadership does not reflect the ideals or beliefs of the incredible people we have met there. We will be using our platform and voice to what we can to support Ukraine in these incredibly difficult times.”

Royal Blood
Royal Blood shared today (March 1), “Due to the invasion of Ukraine, we will not be appearing at Park Live Festival in Moscow. We stand united with all Ukrainian and Russian citizens who want peace.”

Iggy Pop was also scheduled to perform at the Park Live Festival in Moscow, but he, too, has pulled out of the event. His management released the following statement: “The festival appearance of Iggy Pop in Moscow on the 10th of July 2022 is canceled. In light of current events, this is necessary. Our thoughts are with the Ukrainians and all the brave people who oppose this violence and seek peace.”

The Killers were another band set to perform at the Park Live Festival in Moscow, but a rep for the band told TMZ they have also pulled out of the festival over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Måneskin
Måneskin shared a statement to their social media channels on February 28 that reads as follows: “Despite our desire to give you updates regarding the European and Italian tour by March the 1st, we are not able to define and share the new dates in this moment of tension for Europe and for the whole world. We are closer than ever to all the people plagued by war right now.”
The statement continued, “Our solidarity goes to all those who are suffering from the conflict in Ukraine and we hope that the ongoing violence will see an end. Together with this hope we also have that of being able to update you as soon as possible, in times of peace. We thank you for your great patience and understanding, as always. We are closer than ever and have great hope for the future.”
