The Abbey Road crosswalk has long been a popular destination in London thanks to its depiction on the cover of The Beatles’ 1969 album Abbey Road. Now, it’s received a much-needed touch-up.

Road crews descended upon the iconic crosswalk to repaint its lines earlier this week on March 24. The crosswalk is normally filled with many tourists, but due to coronavirus lockdown orders from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, the landmark was deserted.

Scroll through our gallery below to see images of the touch-up. Here’s hoping the crosswalk will be packed again very soon.
