It’s the first ever Jersey Rock Podcast Halloween Special!  It’s an hour-long episode featuring local ghost stories and the spookiest tracks from the bands that make NJ rock!  Turn it up while carving that jack-o-lantern, handing out candy or reaching out and touching something with your ouija board!

In his 30+ year career as a reporter, Bob Makin has covered a lot of supernatural stories.  His latest paranormal article “13 Most Haunted Sites in Central Jersey” is up now at  Bob will hang on the line throughout the podcast to share 3 different ghost stories from his many exploits.  Bob Makin’s 2nd Annual Makin Waves Hunger Benefit rocks Langosta Lounge and The Asbury Park Yacht Club on 11/16 and 11/17.  Learn more on the facebook event page!

Dr. Richard Veit is the Chair of the Department of History and Anthropology at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, where he teaches courses on New Jersey History, Archaeology, Native Americans, and Historic Preservation.  He has authored a number articles and books including “Digging New Jersey’s Past: Historical Archaeology in the Garden State”, “New Jersey Cemeteries and Tombstones: History In The Landscape,” and his latest release “Envisioning New Jersey: An Illustrated History of The Garden State.” Dr. Veit calls in to share some of NJ’s creepy history.

Scotty The NJ Medium calls in to share some of his paranormal expertise. Scotty serves as the Psychic Advisor to local paranormal research group P.A.R.S.  He has extensive experience in dealing with the world of the supernatural.
