Foo Fighters Announce Special Release with H.E.R.
Foo Fighters and their collaboration with H.E.R. wasn’t just a one-off thing for Saturday Night Live.
The band just announced they’re releasing a double A-side digital single of “The Glass” on November 17. (It’s available for pre-save here.) Meanwhile, a vinyl pressing of the single is due out on December 29 and is available for pre-order here. The single will feature the Foo’s original studio version and H.E.R.’s rendition of the track.
Per a press release, “H.E.R.’s newly recorded solo version of ‘The Glass’ is nothing short of a revelation—a stunning and singular vocal/guitar performance that wrings new sonic and emotional dimensions from the original.”
Of course, H.E.R. was a surprise guest with the Foo Fighters during their October 28 appearance on Saturday Night Live.
