Jack Black Strips Down to Undies, Sings Taylor Swift for Charity
Jack Black is the gift that keeps on giving.
The latest example of Jables being the coolest guy in the room came Wednesday night (Oct. 25) at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Per The Independent, Black was on hand for “The Give Back-ular Spectacular! Show.” The event was organized to raise funds for film and TV crew members who are without paychecks due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
During Black’s set, he stripped down to his underwear and then proceeded to briefly do some crowd work. He then takes a song request, which was Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero.”
“I know that one,” said Black. “Everyone knows that f—ing song.” He then proceeds to sing the song’s chorus (“It’s me, hi/I’m the problem, it’s me”) while doing a little dance.
For the sake of some NSFW language, you can watch the clip of the moment here.
Black has also shown his support for the SAG-AFTRA strike by being one of the many union members to join picket lines in Los Angeles. The clip below shows Black making his own sign. If you feel so inclined to check out a video of Black dancing on the picket line (and why wouldn’t you), you can see that magic here.
More Cool Stuff from Jack Black
Black’s Swift striptease was just the latest cool moment from him this month. Weeks ago, the rocker/actor helped Tom Morello celebrate his mother's 100th birthday in grand fashion.
The Rage Against the Machine guitarist shared the video below of Black performing with a group of 12 and 13-year-olds at Mary’s birthday. (Fun fact: One of the kids performing was Tom’s son, Roman.)
Tom captioned the clip, “Mary Morello’s 100th bday celebration featured a stirring rendition of @ozzyosbourne & #RandyRhoads ‘Mr. Crowley’ performed by @jackblack and a kick-ass band of 12 & 13 year olds! Mary was pleased!”

School of Rock premiered on September 24th, 2003, and was the highest-grossing music-themed comedy until 2015’s Pitch Perfect 2. I’m not a huge fan of musicals but I LOVE the music-themed comedies. Jack Black rocks Mr. Schneebly to the nth degree as an imposter substitute teacher who is desperate to pay the rent and express his deep love for rock and roll.
“I pledge allegiance — to the band — of Mr. Schneebly.”
A few months ago in an Entertainment Tonight interview with Jack Black, the idea of plans were mentioned for a 20th reunion of the School of Rock cast. Jack Black saying, “We like to jam. I’m looking forward to seeing all of the grownups from School of Rock.” Unfortunately, as of now, there are no announced reunion plans. Some of the kids from the cast have had a happier story than others. Catch up on where the cast of School of Rock in now, when you click HERE.
I hope you enjoy the School of Rock gifts that I found. Happy shopping and Happy 20th Anniversary to School of Rock! Here’s to the movie and the man that serves society by rocking. You made me love “It’s a Long Way to The Top” even more than I thought possible.
