Def Leppard: How To Watch Livestream of Sheffield Club Show
Def Leppard is kicking off the European leg of their tour with Mötley Crüe on May 22 with a hometown gig in Sheffield, England at Bramall Lane Stadium. Three days prior, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band is playing another hometown show, but at a much more intimate venue.
On May 19, Def Leppard will take to the stage at a club called The Leadmill. The club’s main room capacity is only 900 people. Tickets for the special show go on sale to the general public on May 12, with full details available at DefLeppard.com. Understandably, this will be a very difficult ticket to secure. Fortunately, fans will be able to livestream the show via Veeps.com.
The livestream costs $14.99 and will be available for rewatch for 24 hours following the start of the show, which will begin at 4 PM EDT.
In a statement about the club show, singer Joe Elliott said, ” … When thinking of a warm up, it made sense to do a special set at The Leadmill, in the city where it all started. We know there are a lot of small music venues struggling across the UK, so we wanted to give back to what gave to us. The net proceeds from the evening will go directly to Music Venue Trust in an effort to keep UK clubs alive.”
Coincidently, May 19 also marks the release date of the band’s new album, Drastic Symphonies. The album features reworked versions of some of Def Leppard’s most popular songs featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Drastic Symphonies is available of pre-order in all formats here.
