Disturbed Become Latest Band to Launch Coffee Brand
Disturbed has jumped on the bandwagon of branching into the coffee business with the launch of its own coffee brand.
Available now via DeadSledCoffee.com in ground and whole bean varieties is Disturbed’s Get Up Dark Java Coffee. Per its listing, “The officially licensed Disturbed Get Up Dark Java coffee is from the island of Java which is an island in Indonesia, located between Sumatra and Bali. It is roasted to a full Italian (dark) roast. The dark Java coffee has a heavy body, nutty aroma, bright acidity, and a lasting finish. It has hints of nutty, malty, chocolate, bright and sweet flavors.”
Dead Sled Coffee co-owner Mike Thorwart said in a statement on the coffee, “It’s been over 20 years since Disturbed released their debut album, ‘The Sickness.’ Stationed in Korea at the time it had a huge impact on both my life and those around me. It was something we had never heard before. Disturbed changed the game and continue to push boundaries while staying true to their sound.”
Full details on Disturbed’s coffee can be found at Dead Sled Coffee’s official website, who are also the company behind Rob Zombie’s Hellbilly Brew and Skid Row’s Slave to The Grind coffee.
