Post Malone Says He ‘Had No Idea’ Ozzy Osbourne Was Living With Parkinson’s
Post Malone recently worked with Ozzy Osbourne on “Take What You Want,” a track from the rapper’s latest album Hollywood Bleeding that also features Travis Scott, and at the time, he “had no idea” the Prince of Darkness was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Malone told Rolling Stone, “Working with him and hanging out with him and being around him, you can’t tell. You can tell he has a little difficulty getting around, but he’s so strong.”
Osbourne had only recently gone public with his Parkinson’s diagnosis, but he’s been dealing with other health issues for over a year including multiple staph infections and recovering from spinal surgery after he took a nasty fall in his home that dislodged metal rods in his body that were implanted after an ATV accident in 2003 that nearly killed him.
Malone added, “I know he’s been working on a new project with a bunch of my friends, [and] I’m really excited for him because he’s so passionate about it and it sounds incredible; he sounds incredible.”
Whether or not that new project is something different from his upcoming studio album, Ordinary Man, wasn’t made clear, but that album comes out February 21 and is available for pre-order/pre-save in various formats and platforms here.
