Tom Morello Performs Rage Against The Machine, Honors Chris Cornell at Seattle Solo Show
Tom Morello is currently on a run of solo tour dates, but Rage Against The Machine and their 2020 reunion shows are clearly on his mind.
Per Spin, Morello performed Rage’s “Killing in the Name” during his encore at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre last night (November 6), which included him inviting fans on stage with him.
“For our final selection tonight, we’re gonna play an old gospel number,” said Morello. “If you know this one, sing along.”
During the Seattle show, Morello also paid tribute to former Audioslave bandmate Chris Cornell and shared the moment via his Instagram. As if the night couldn’t get more Seattle, Morello also share a photo of him and Duff McKagan in that same Instagram post which was captioned, “Kick ass sold out show in Seattle! Good to see my buddy @officialduffmckagan. Great, great crowd tonight. #CornellForever”
