The White Stripes: Listen To Their Final Concert
The White Stripes just surprise-released a digital version of their final concert. The legendary Detroit garage rock duo — drummer Meg White and singer/guitarist Jack White — played their final gig together on Jul 31, 2007 at Mississippi’s Snowden Grove Amphitheater. The show was the end of their tour in support of the Icky Thump album, released earlier that year. They never released another studio LP, and they disbanded The White Stripes in 2011.
Jack White, of course, has stuck with his other band, the Raconteurs, as well as starting a new band, the Dead Weather and kicking off his solo career, and launching Third Man Records. Meg White, however, is more of a recluse.
Listen to their final show here.
