Jacoby Shaddix Teases 20th Anniversary Plans for Papa Roach’s ‘Infest’
Papa Roach‘s second studio album, Infest, will turn 20 next year, and count on the band having big plans to celebrate this major anniversary.
Jacoby Shaddix touched on the topic in a recent appearance on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown where he teased some anniversary plans and when fans can expect those announcements.
“It’s afforded us a career. ‘Last Resort,’ in particular, that song is such a massive hit. It still is a hit; young kids are getting into it. Kids are feeling it, and every time we perform it, it just goes off,” said Shaddix. “To have an album like that that sold millions and millions and millions of records and have a song like that that’s just iconic, we’re very grateful for it, and we look back on it very fondly. I have a lot of great memories from it, but then I also have some crazy-ass memories from it. But we’ve got some cool announcements coming up here soon. We’re brewing up something that’s going to be next-level to celebrate the album. We’ll probably announce that probably sometime after the first of the [New] year. In 2020, we’re doing some really special events around it. It’s going to be dope.”
While fans wait to hear what the band has in store for Infest anniversary plans, Papa Roach can be found on the road in North America through October 19. A complete list of show dates can be found at PapaRoach.com.
