Corey Taylor Said He “Blew Out” His Left Testicle & Now I Have Questions
Corey Taylor got a little TMI on Twitter, and it has opened the floodgates to a number of follow-up questions.
The Slipknot frontman shared, “Working on my ’87 Dokken high notes this morning. F—ed around and blew out the left testicle. Careful on re-entry, kids. #kissofdeath #pissinblood”

Obviously, that tweet paints a very grizzly picture, but it warrants so many questions, like:
-Was Taylor actually singing when the testicle injury occurred? (Some outlets are reporting that, but there’s no true confirmation.)
-If the injury didn’t happen while singing, how did it happen?
-Obviously, “blew out the left testicle” isn’t a proper medical term, so does Taylor have a sports hernia? And might it require surgery? (If so, what a bummer!)
-Is the right testicle available for comment?
-Also, why on Earth would Taylor share this when he knows media outlets would definitely cover something this absurd?
-Is Taylor just messing with us just to see who would write about his junk? (Honestly, if that’s the case, well played, and I can’t even be mad about that.)
Regardless, hopefully, Taylor is okay. Slipknot has a number of performances lined up in Europe beginning June 7 before returning stateside for their Knotfest Roadshow tour, which kicks off July 26 in Mountain View, Calif. Touring this summer will be in support of the band’s sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind. The album comes out August 9, and exclusive merch bundles are available for pre-order at SlipknotMerch.com.
