Serj Tankian Provides Vocals on Cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Godzilla”
Sure, it’s not new System of A Down music, but it’s still pretty damn cool.
Serj Tankian provided the vocals on a cover of the Blue Oyster Cult‘s “Godzilla” for the soundtrack to the new film Godzilla: King Of Monsters.
The cover and soundtrack album is composed by Bear McCreary, who has also provided the score for The Walking Dead. For added metal measure, the “Godzilla” cover also features Brendon Small and Gene Hoglan, best known as members of Dethklok from Metalocalypse.
The soundtrack for Godzilla: King Of Monsters comes out May 24, while the film opens in theaters on May 31.
