Adam Sandler Hosting ‘SNL’ for the First Time in May
Saturday Night Live has brought back many former cast members to host the show over the years, but an upcoming episode will see one of its most successful alumni return to host for the very first time.
SNL’s social media shared that the May 4 episode will be hosted by Adam Sandler.

Sandler was on SNL for five seasons from 1991-1995 before being fired from the show along with Chris Farley. He’s also said in the past he had no interest in hosting the show. In a chat with Norm Macdonald in 2014, he said when asked if he should host the show, “Why should I? I don’t know how good it would be. I’m slow now.”
Sandler clearly has had a change of heart, so it’ll be interesting what kind of skits he’ll be involved in or even if he’ll return to the “Weekend Update” desk for a new song.
