There have been all sorts of buzz about whether the newly reunited Guns N’ Roses will record new music, but a new rumor making the rounds has the band contributing to a high-profile T.Rex tribute album.
Mitch Lafon of Rock Talk with Mitch Lafon shared via Twitter that, “Unsubstantiated reports claim Guns N’ Roses have recorded a cover of T.Rex’s “Children of the Revolution” for inclusion on a upcoming tribute album.”

News of this T.Rex tribute album broke in October via Variety that also have U2, Foo Fighters, Elton John and Joan Jett attached to the album with U2 speculated to have contributed a cover of “Bang a Gong (Get It On)” for the release. The tribute album will accompany a new documentary about T.Rex also slated for release in 2019.
Up until now, GN’R have not been attached to this project, and while there’s no confirmation to this rumor yet, there’s no doubt the band would deliver a great cover of “Children of the Revolution.”
After all, we bet Axl Rose would drive a Rolls-Royce, ‘cause it’s good for his voice. (If that last sentence doesn’t make sense, Google it. You’ll be better for it.)
