Trent Reznor celebrates his birthday today (May 17), and when he started Nine Inch Nails in 1988, the last thing he likely expected to become was an Academy Award winner.
Along with partner Atticus Ross, Reznor won the Oscar for Best Original Music Score for The Social Network. Reznor and Ross are part of a unique club of popular musicians that have also won Academy Awards.
