Corey Taylor has been very open about his battle with addiction, and last night, he was honored by Rock To Recovery for his efforts of decreasing the stigma of addiction.
Taylor received the music therapy/addiction treatment organization’s Icon Award last night and gave a very moving speech about his struggles and advice to those who are in recovery or seeking help.
“One day at a time. And every day is a gift. So thank you for having this gift with me,” said Taylor.
