WATCH: Godsmack Pay Tribute To Chester Bennington, Chris Cornell
Many rockers have taken time during their sets this summer to honor both Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell. The latest to do just that were Godsmack.
During the band’s show in Bethlehem, Pa., Sully Erna addressed the crowd and how “mind-blowing” it’s been to see so many musicians the past few years leave the world all too soon.
What proceeded were Godsmack’s acoustic renditions of Linkin Park’s “Crawling” and Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike.” Erna may have said the band didn’t rehearse much and only played on performing these songs that day, but they still knocked it out of the park.
