Nickelback is a polarizing band that often gets a lot of hate. However, when you sell 50 million albums worldwide, clearly plenty of people love the Canadian rock band. After all, you don’t sell that many albums by accident.
Forming in 1995, Nickelback has maintained the same lineup since 2005: Chad Kroeger (lead singer/guitarist), Ryan Peake (guitarist/backing vocalist/keyboardist), Mike Kroeger (bassist) and Daniel Adair (drummer/percussion/backing vocalist.) In its history, Nickelback has scored seven top-ten albums in the United States with their fifth studio album, 2005’s All The Right Reasons, landing at number one on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. On top of that, the band has also had six top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, with 2001’s “How You Remind Me” topping that chart.
