Don’t feel like cooking? Inviting a ton of friends and relatives to your home for the holidays and having to cook for all of them can be really overwhelming.  You should call your local caterer, restaurant,  favorite deli, or specialty store, and let them do all the work.

It usually takes me a week or so to plan a holiday feast. My process starts with giving lots of thought to the side dishes and desserts that will make the meal spectacular. If I’m doing all or some of the cooking, my passion kicks in while coming up with a list of items that accompany the main dish. If a large crowd is expected, I will almost always make way too much. If you’re like me, you’re exhausted just thinking about doing all that work.  How about letting someone else do all the heavy lifting? All you have to do is sit back and make a phone call.

The following places will do all the cooking and in some cases even deliver the food. Even if you have to pick up your order, it may be worth it. You can spend time getting the house ready for your guests. When your guests arrive, there will be more time for you to spend with them instead of slaving over a hot stove while your friends and family are in the den or the living room drinking all your booze.
