We turn up the latest tune from Ser Xerri! “Close 2 You” is a dystopian power ballad that draws influence from the events of the last 16 months. You can catch Ser Xerri in action at The Seafarer in Highlands on 8/31. Learn more at serxerri.com!
Steve Cavico of Tilted calls in to tell us about the final Rock 2 Adopt event ever. Rock 2 Adopt 10 rocks The Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River on 9/11 and 9/12. The 2-day concert will raise money for animal adoption and feral animal care. Tilted performs on 9/11. Learn more and order your wristband at tiltedonline.com!
We close out the show with the 3 Jersey Rock bands that will lend their talent to a very special event happening in Toms River this September. The Rat is proud to take over the Ocean Of Love Radiothon, which each year raises funds for families with children battling cancer in Ocean County. Gotts will live on top of a billboard from 9/20 to 9/23. Our goal is to raise $109,000.00! The event kicks off on 9/20 with a Jersey Rock concert featuring:
Matt O’Ree Band – M.O.B will take time out from touring the nation to rock the Ocean Of Love Radiothon! We’re stoked to have the Jersey Rock vets on the bill. Matt O’Ree Band’s “Live At The Stone Pony” and “Brotherhood” albums are available now at mattoreeband.com!
Wynward – The Brick alternative band usually closes out the Jersey Rock Showcase series. Our last series ended prematurely due to the pandemic so this will be Wynward’s first Jersey Rock Show in 2 years. Their “Tides” album is available now. Check them out at facebook.com/wynwardnj!
Kodiak – Hailing from Toms River, Kodiak is a rising force on the Rock scene! The band has a number of killer singles available with more new music on the way. They recently turned in a high-octane set at WeissFest in Middletown. Learn more at kodiakband.com!
