‘Parks & Recreation’ Band Mouse Rat Announces Album Marking 10th Anniversary of Li’l Sebastian’s Death

Parks & Recreation went off the air in 2015, but that’s not stopping the show from making headlines, especially when honoring one of Pawnee, Indiana’s greatest citizens and bands.

In his honor, Mouse Rat is releasing The Awesome Album, which features the tribute song “5,000 Candles In The Wind (Bye Bye Li’l Sebastian),” as well as other notable Mouse Rat classics like “The Pit” and “Sex Hair.” (A full tracklisting can be viewed below.)

A new video for “5,000 Candles In The Wind (Bye Bye Li’l Sebastian)” was also released in honor of the 10th anniversary of Li’l Sebastian going to horsey heaven.

The Awesome Album is due out on August 27. “5,000 Candles In The Wind (Bye Bye Li’l Sebastian)” is currently available on all major digital platforms here. Physical copies of the album, as well as Mouse Rat merch, is available for pre-order at DualToneStore.com and MagnoliaRecord.Store.
