Woman Delays Flight for “Fresh Air” by Opening Emergency Exit
Apparently, some passengers just can’t be trusted to sit near the emergency exit.
Per the South China Morning Post, a woman on a Xiamen Air flight decided to open the emergency exit while the plane was waiting to taxi the runway because she needed “a breath of fresh air.”
Before the incident that delayed the flight for about an hour, the flight crew made sure the woman felt comfortable sitting near the emergency exit and reminded her not to touch the button that would open the emergency door. Clearly, she did not fully understand the result of her much-needed fresh air.
