Have You Ever Wondered If Swedish Fish Actually Come From Sweden?
The answer isn’t exactly clear or is it? Swedish Fish are well, Swedish-ish.
So, how Swedish are Swedish Fish? We all know and love this soft and chewy, shape-fished candy that comes in a variety of colors. And we think the candy tastes like strawberry or some generic fruit flavor. We can easily say these fish gummies are an American candy classic that can be found in almost any movie theater and old-timey candy shops.
But have you ever stopped to think where the candy originated from?
According to OldTimeCandy.com, Swedish Fish, owned by the Cadbury Adams Company, was in fact developed in Sweden and made in both Sweden and Canada!
Or is it just coincidence like the tweet below seems to suggest? The Swedish Fish company posted a video on its Twitter page revealing that the candy resembles the shape of the country Sweden. So, therefore, it must be a Sweden-based delight!
