Trout and Woods Join Forces on New Jersey Golf Course Set To Open in 2025
Two sports legends have made something special in Vineland, New Jersey.
Mike Trout and Tiger Woods just wrapped up work on an incredible 18-hole golf course. The par-72 layout stretches 7,455 yards and is getting ready to welcome golfers in 2025. TGR’s designers made sure each hole would make players think, especially around the greens. “It’s going to be challenging,” says Tyler Trout, Mike’s brother, who heads the club’s development team. The grass on all 18 holes is fresh, planted back in October.
The project, called Trout National – The Reserve, takes a different approach. Instead of adding houses around the course, it’s all about pure golf, drawing both pros and regular players. What makes it special is how it puts the game first. The centerpiece is a massive 30,000-square-foot practice green. Night practice is possible at the lit Bullpen, and there’s a cutting-edge training center to help players get better.
The clubhouse is packed with both fancy and fun stuff. Members can relax at the spa or hit the bowling alley. There’s a wine cellar downstairs, plus a barbershop and gym to round things out. Everything should be ready to go by April 2026. Aaron’s, named in memory of Trout’s brother-in-law who died, opened last December.
It’s a hangout spot that feels both casual and classy, with great food off the grill and a nice bar setup. Baseball touches show up all over the place. The Dugout looks just like you’re at a real MLB game, with actual stadium seats and big screens everywhere.
When two of the best team up, they make something special. They finished everything up at the end of 2024, getting ready for an exciting opening in 2025.
