Battleship New Jersey To Hold Ceremony On Veterans Day
The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial located in Camden, New Jersey will salute our veterans on Friday, November 11 with a ceremony starting at 11 am.
It will take place on the fantail with keynote remarks from author and military historian John Siegfried and Teg Gallafger of Camden County.
Battleship New Jersey will remember our veterans who have passed with the casting of a memorial wreath on the Delaware River. Following the ceremony, to honor the veterans in attendance, they can enjoy a tour of the Battleship from 10 am to 4 pm for an admission of a donation of any amount.
Mr. Siegfried will also have copies of his book “No Greater Love, The Story of Michael Crescenz, Philadelphia’s Only Gold Medal Recipient from the Vietnam War” available in the Officers’ Wardroom to be signed later in the day.
