Former President Jimmy Carter Hospitalized
Former President Jimmy Carter was admitted to a Georgia Hospital tonight (11/11) for a procedure to relieve pressure caused by bleeding in his brain.
The Carter Center said in a statement that the bleeding was caused by Carter’s recent falls and that “President Carter is resting comfortably and his wife, Rosalynn, is with him.”
According to CBS News, the procedure will take place Tuesday morning (11/12) at the Emory University Hospital. Carter is 95 years old and is the oldest living President ever.
