Artificial Intelligence Creates It’s Own Language, Scares Humans
Hey guys… I don’t want to live in the future if it is like iRobot.
According to Forbes, Facebook had to shut down an artificial intelligence engine after the developers found that the AI had created its own language that humans weren’t able to understand.
The chatbots were communicating in a new language without human input and they had to shut it down.
The article notes that people like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Steve Wozniak have been cautionary when it comes to AI’s, and even Stephen Hawking said back in 2014 that AI’s could be the end of the human race.
Forbes contributor Tony Bradley says to imagine it as SKYNET from Terminator and that the machines could, in fact, determine that mankind is a threat to them.
At least Facebook had the sense to pull the plug, but if there’s anything we learned from Avengers: Age Of Ultron, the desire of a genius could lead to the biggest blunder ever.
