Your Dog Is Welcome At These Pet Friendly Restaurants & Bars On The Jersey Shore – PART 2

You get to go out on the town whenever the mood strikes. What about your pooch? Dogs need to get out of the house for more than just their daily walks.

How about taking your furry buddy to one of your favorite hangouts. It could be a favorite eatery, or perhaps a local bar or pub.

Did you know there are dozens upon dozens of places where your dog is welcome?

I think most people are familiar with Asbury Park’s Wonder Bar and their very animal inclusive Yappy Hour.

Yappy Hour is when the Wonder Bar plays host to our furry friends. With plenty of fenced-­in outdoor space, dogs can meet new friends, get some exercise, or just chill by the water bowl, while their humans do some socializing of their own.

As of July 17, 2023, The Wonder Bar’s Yappy Hour schedule is:
Monday 3 to 7 Small Dogs Only
Thursday and Friday - All Size Dogs 3 to 7 pm
Saturday and Sunday - All Size Dogs Noon to 6 pm
Starting August 2 - Small Dog Wednesday 3 to 7 pm

Even some places of business allow employees to bring their pets to work. The WRAT is one of those places. Our 7 to midnight jock, “The  Minister”, brings his baby to work almost every day.

Minister pops in during the day with his baby boy, Vader, and our staff goes wild. Especially me, I just love that pooch!

Minister makes sure to bring Vader into the studio to visit Auntie Robyn I've even had him as a special on-air guest. It just makes my day.

It’s nice to know there are plenty of pet friendly establishments on the Shore where your pet is welcome.

Let’s take a look at just a few places in Part 1 of Places on the Jersey Shore your furry family member is welcome.

Taylor Sam's is a dog-friendly café where you can grab a hearty meal and sit at an outside table with your dog. One of the best breakfasts, brunches, or lunches in Ocean County is at Taylor Sams's.

A favorite hangout for Beasley Media's Monmouth & Ocean County crew. Bum Rogers is located right next to dog-friendly Island Beach State Park. Grab some crabs and a beer, and sit at one of their outside tables with your dog.

Great bistro style food, along with craft taps served in a spacious, sleek eatery with a festive bar scene & a patio. They are very dog friendly and they will welcome you and your pup to enjoy a meal at one of their outdoor tables.

Take your dog to Brunch which is served on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 3:00pm.

A nice upscale eatery that offers food with a French touch. Put a bowtie on your pooch and grab one of their 6 dog friendly tables outside. Rex or Fluffy will feel special in this lovely Point Pleasant Beach establishment.

While you pound tequila shots and scarf down a few burritos, your dog can drink his non-alcoholic beverage from a doggie bowl at one of their covered outdoor tables. Live music is often scheduled.

The WRAT staff's go to pizza joint in Belmar is happy to welcome your pet to one of their 8, dog friendly tables. Get the pizza, and definitely get the wings and the Caesar Salad.

Feel free to take your furry friend to enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of their outdoor dog friendly tables. Allow me to recommend the Mac & Cheese with Smoked Sausage and Aged Cheddar for the human, and The Hudson Burger with Applewood Smoke Bacon & Cheddar sans the lettuce & tomato for your sweet doggie.

So the wife says, "Honey, I'm the mood for Italian tonight." You say, "We can't leave the new puppy alone just yet." I'm here to tell you to bring your new baby dog because Patricia's has ample room for your puppy at their twenty five dog-friendly tables which are open during the warmer months.

Order a burger for yourself, and one for your furry companion, because Meg's outdoor seating welcomes dogs. 

Grab a beer and bowl full of water and enjoy the company and good food with your perky pooch at this favorite Freehold spot. They have great burgers and great homemade chicken pot pies. Eat, Drink & Be Furry.

Free Pizza All Day, Every Day and a great selection of ice cold beer. Gotts loves when you bring your dog to say hello at the friendly outdoor seating area.
