Alright here we go, since we have the boys from Shinedown ready to party with us here at 95.9 The Rat, Gotts decided to add his favorite top songs from Shinedown. This band has had a bunch of hits over the years, and I know what you’re thinking, there are a lot more hits from Shinedown than what is on this list. Of course, I agree with you on that. So what’s your favorite Shinedown track?

This list just came off the top of Gotts’s head here, and when these songs come on he is cracking them up very loud and we will say ” He tries to sing along, but we all know we would rather hear a seagull sing.” Don’t forget we are doing a private show with the guys that we hope you entered to win and hopefully you get a call to attend on August 9th, 2024. Gotts’s History With Shinedown

Gotts has been hanging out and having fun now with these guys for a while now. He has been putting on some wacky outfits, such as tinker-bell, and the latest one was the butterfly, due to the fact they have a song called ” The Crow & The Butterfly,” at one of the Ratfest we hosted at PNC Bank Arts Center.

One of the show’s Gotts does recall was he was at Starland when Brent and Zack did a show, and during the soundcheck Brent the lead singer of the band, said to him, “Where Is Your Outfit Gotts And How Can We Do A Show And Look Out To The Crowd In Jersey And Not See You ?” Too funny, but as you know Gotts has a job to do, and when The Rat says put this outfit on, he never questions it. He is one of a kind that is for sure.

  I love it when they start their shows off with this track! Get the crowd moving and singing right along. 

• 2. BRILLANT ( Attention Attention 2018 )

  This song is playing 90% of the time I’m out riding my bike, and is blasting in my headphones. Good Tune right here. 

• 3. FLY FROM THE INSIDE ( Leave A Whisper 2003 )

  Feel in love with this song when they did it at PNC and I was running around PNC and tried to sing it like Brent and ended up losing my voice trying to hit the high notes. LOL 

• 4. A SYMPTOM OF BEING HUMAN ( Planet Zero 2022 )

  I get so many requests for this track and it hits some heartstrings for so many as well. This had to be on the list, for sure.

  This one is on my list because I get to premier it on the air here at 95.9 The Rat, and is another one that people can really reflect on and look forward to if have a rough time in their life.

  This has to be on here because not only is it a kick-ass song, but I was the crow and the butterfly at Ratfest with Shinedown.
