5.) The Godfather

Hey, we're getting this list started with a little controversy but I maintain that The Godfather is perfect movie. A key storyline happens around Christmastime when Michael Corleone's father Vito is shot. But, let's not forget when Michael and Kay went Christmas shopping!

4.) Gremlins

Gremlins is loaded with Holiday Spirit as the monsters terrorize a small town on Christmas eve. Heck...the little goblins even do Christmas caroling!

3.) Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone

Between the wonderful wintry music of John Williams and the magic, holiday effects...this Harry Potter flick is a perfect Christmastime watch.

2.) L.A. Confidential

An amazing film noir that introduced American audiences to Russell Crowe...this fantastic picture began when the cops roughed up some prisoners in the jail at a Christmas eve party.

1.) Goodfellas

Oh, heck yes! Goodfellas, in my opinion, is one of the closest films to being a Christmas movie without being a Christmas movie. Henry bought the biggest tree they had. Gifts are exchanged. And, of course, a Christmas party goes down (not too well for Johnny Roast Beef).
