Good morning, Sports fans!   It’s Davey Mac back with another Sports Report and we have some breaking news!

The New York Yankees have just re-signed…wait for it…General Manager Brian Cashman to a four-year deal.   Um…WHAT?!

New York Yankees Introduce Aaron Boone As Manager

What the hell is Hal Steinbrenner (Yankee Owner) thinking?!   Cashman is now the General Manager of the third LONGEST World Series drought in Yankee history.   We’re not talking a year or two.   We’re talking…by 2023…it will be 14 years between championships (and that’s IF the Yanks win it all this season).

Yankee Stadium To Host Notre Dame-Army Football in 2010

Furthermore…the ONLY signing Yankee fans want to hear about is that the Yanks have re-signed Aaron Judge!   You know…the guy that slugged an American League record 62 home runs this year!   THAT guy!

I don’t get this announcement and signing at all.   The Yanks are out to lunch.   And if Cashman lets Judge escape to California or anywhere else besides the Bronx…then he is one of the worst GM’s in Yankee history.   I’m Davey Mac.   That’s my two cents.

New York Yankees Introduce Gerrit Cole
