I’ve watched the first three games and am beginning to get to know the players. There is tons of talent on the American team. Excellent defense and goal-tending.

The U.S. is only the second youngest team in the entire tournament…but head coach Gregg Berhalter has done a great job keeping the team poised and focused.

And you can tell that the rest of the nation is watching. Sources are saying that these have been the best TV ratings that the World Cup has gotten in America in years.

The Bills stayed in first place in the AFC East by beating the Patriots on Thursday Night Football…24 to 10. Bills QB Josh Allen threw for 233 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. The Bills improve to 9 and 3. The Pats drop to 6 and 6.

Football This Sunday: Giants Vs. Washington
This weekend: the Giants take on Washington at one o’clock. The Giants are 7 and 4. The Commanders are 7 and 5 and have won three games in a row. With the Giants’ difficult schedule for the rest of the season…I would classify this as a must-win game.

The Devils lost to the Predators…4 to 3. The Devils are still 19-4-1.

Baseball HOF'er Gaylord Perry Dies
Baseball Hall of Famer and two-time Cy Young Award winner Gaylord Perry, the master of the spitball, died yesterday at the age of 84. Perry had 314 career wins but it was the spitball that made him famous.
