Rachael Ray’s Staff Loves These New Jersey Eateries

I came across an article on Dailyvoice.com that listed 6 New Jersey Restaurants deemed the best by the foodies who are employed by “30 Minute Meals” Goddess, Rachael Ray. I would imagine if you’re hired to work for Rachael Ray in any capacity, you would have to be a foodie to some degree.

I have loved Rachael since her early days on the Food Network. I didn’t really need any guidance on how to cook a meal in 30 minutes, but I did need a good dose of positivity. Rachael Ray is full of good vibes and really good ideas. She has inspired me many times over the last 2 decades.

I was sad to learn that “The Rachael Ray Show” which airs in the New York- Tri-state area on ABC- channel 7, will come to an end after she’s done taping the current season. I know she has big plans on the horizon, and I look forward to her next chapter with her new production company, “Free Food Studios.”

Here are the seven New Jersey restaurants Rachael’s staff considers among the best in the country.

Rachael's Associate Producer Lauren Zmirich used to waitress here during her college years. This was Lauren's choice for one of the best restaurants in the country. She suggests, the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, and the Bourbon BBQ Burger.
Let's not forget that Guy Fieri visited this place twice on "Diners Drive-Ins, and Dives."

Rachael's Senior Producer, Erin Rose absolutely loves Augustinos.  "They have some of the BEST Italian food in town, and that says a lot considering Hoboken is full of great Italian restaurants.  She adds that it's hard to get a reservation, but it's worth the wait.

No wonder this place is on the list. Joe Murphy, was named one of the Top 10 pastry chefs in the country, earned 4 stars in the New York Times, and 3 Michelin stars. That is impressive and the biggest reason to make it to his establishment. Rachael staffers, Senior Producer Jen Gsell and Supervising Producer Matthew Kells chose this as one of their favorite places to grab sweet treats.

This place has come up a lot on the food pages I frequent on social media, and the reviews are all good.  Rachael's  Executive Producer Andrew Goldman, says you must add this to your list. All the classic hoagies you can think of, plus you can customize a hoagie to your specific taste.

This place features farm to table Italian cuisine and looks quite lovely.  This was the suggestion of Jill Skinner, who works in on-air promotions for Rachael Ray.  Jill says, "I love dining there in all 4 seasons to see what kind of delicious menu Chef Antonio has brilliantly thought of! I also love that one of their missions is to keep the restaurant as environmentally conscious as possible through locally-sourced ingredients and materials."

The choice of  Rachael Ray Show Food Stylist Ben Perez.  It's an intimate pizzeria featuring artisan, wood-fired pies & a bar with cocktails & Italian craft beer. According to Be, the ingredients are fresh, seasonal and local right down to the flour and the cheeses.

It looks like real comfortable hang-out. Rachael's Production Secretary Jacqueline Gray loves this place! She was quoted on Rachael's site; "The food is absolutely amazing. My friends and I love to get a bunch of apps to share. Our favorites are their disco fries, wings, buffalo chicken dips, cheeseburger sliders and pretzels (when they have it as a special!). You also can never go wrong with any of their entrees or sandwiches."  I'd like to hang out with Jacqueline and her friends.
