Good morning, Sports fans! And a Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya! It’s your ol’ Irish pal Davey Mac here back with the last Sports Report of the week! Slainte!
We’ve got the basketball and hockey and baseball and football! But first! Did you hear about Princeton in the men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament last night?!
The 15-seeded Tigers from the Jersey Ivy League school upset the 2-seeded Arizona Wildcats and shocked the world in the process!
Princeton defeated Arizona…59 to 55…marking the second straight year that a Jersey school has made a huge impact on the tournament. Of course, last year it was all about St. Peter’s out of Jersey City. This year…it’s Princeton. Amazing!
Tosan Evbuomwan led the way for Princeton with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. He was absolutely fantastic.
So, congrats to the kids of Princeton! What an incredible and all-time victory! That’s another win for Jersey, baby! I’m Davey Mac…that’s my Sports Two Cents! Slainte!
