Good morning, Sports fans! It’s Davey Mac here with yet another scintillating Sports Report for ya! BAM! And for starters…I just had to look up what “scintillating” means. Apparently it means “brilliant” or “dazzling” (according to Google). I used it correctly! YES!
But first! Did you see the news about superstar free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Junior?

OBJ will be holding a workout in Arizona today for teams interested in acquiring him for this upcoming season…and the Giants will reportedly be in attendance! Beckham, of course, began his career with the G-Men and put up some of the greatest numbers and made some of the best catches Giants fans have ever seen. Remember the spectacular one-handed catch he made against the Cowboys? WOW!

And, not for nothing, but the Giants just gave $160 million to quarterback Daniel Jones and yet he still has no one to throw to. Both he and Saquon Barkley need some help…they need a couple of playmakers like Odell.

So will OBJ be back on the G-Men? I hope so! The Giants are looking good but they simply need more offensive weapons to relieve some of the pressure on Jones and Barkley. I say sign Odell! I’m Davey Mac…that’s my Sports Two Cents!

Rodgers' Deal With Jets Could Be 'Imminent'
Let’s start with football…because sources are telling ESPN that the Jets are growing quite “confident” in landing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. ESPN’s Dianna Russini states that Jets owner Woody Johnson is quote “excited and satisfied.” The Jets are apparently quite optimistic at the prospect of acquiring Rodgers. Some even describe Rodgers singing a deal as “imminent.” We’ll see!

Knicks Lose To Kings
Basketball…where the Knicks have lost two in a row now as the Knicks fell last night to the Sacramento Kings,122 to 117. The Knicks drop to 39 and 29. They’re still in the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference…a game ahead of the Nets.

Nets Cut Down By Bucks
Speaking of which…the Nets lost to the Bucks yesterday…118 to 113. The Nets fall to 37 and 29 (6th in the East).

Harper Looking At All Star Break Return
Staying with the Phillies for a second…superstar Bryce Harper says he hopes to return to the team by the All Star break. Harper, a two-time National League MVP, has had to have Tommy John surgery (a procedure usually reserved for pitchers) because of an injured elbow.
